The gauntlet has been thrown-down for anybody wanting to improve their photography and have fun doing it!

(This is mine for the first week, which is Pink+Green)

Happythings has started a new “Year of Color” challenge at Flickr (click here).

If you saw how well-run and sucessful the last Year of Color Challenge was, you won’t hesitate to take part in this years exercise.

Last year she picked a different color each week from a box of Crayola crayons (¡Aie, Crayola!) and the challenge was to make an interesting picture containing that weeks color.

This time it’ll be 52-weeks of 2-color combos chosen by our hostess. Should be a fun challenge indeed.

This type of challenge is always a good way to practice your photography and perhaps raise the bar as you try and out-do yourself and the other participants.

With 442-members of the group (and growing), you’ll see a lot of great pictures out there.
